1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike traditional tools, freebarcodetools FBA does not upload your files to a remote server. When you use our Barcode Generator, 2D Box Content Builder, or any other tool, the processing logic runs within your own browser session. We never see, store, or intercept your SKUs, FNSKUs, Shipment IDs, or sensitive business data.

2. How We Use Cookies

We keep things lean. We use minimal cookies to ensure the site functions correctly and to understand how the site is being used. These include:

  • Essential Cookies: Vital for site navigation and basic security.
  • Analytics: Cookieless page-view statistics (which don't identify you) to see which pages are most helpful, so we can keep improving them.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell your data to third parties.

Browser storage: Some tools remember settings on your own device using your browser's local storage (not cookies). The barcode generator saves the printer and label size you chose, and the A4 Offset tool remembers your sheet type and which label positions on it are used. This stays in your browser, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics: Cookieless page-view and traffic statistics only. It does not receive anything you enter into the tools.
  • jsDelivr (public CDN): Our tools load open-source libraries (for barcodes and PDFs) from cdn.jsdelivr.net. Your browser requests these files directly; as with any web request, the CDN receives your IP address and browser details, but nothing you enter into the tools is sent.
  • Google Fonts: The site's fonts load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. As with any web request, Google receives your IP address and browser details; nothing you enter into the tools is sent.
  • Formspree: Handles contact form submissions. Your message and email are shared with Formspree only to route your enquiry to us.

4. Your Rights (UK GDPR)

If you're based in the UK or EU, you have the right to:

  • Access any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of that data
  • Object to our use of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office)

5. Data Retention

Because our tools process data locally in your browser, we retain no tool-generated data on our servers. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months for support purposes.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
